2023’s edition of the Seeing the Soul art exhibition was our first, held throughout the month of April 2023 at Cooroy’s Butter Factory Arts Centre. Held as a major fundraising event for our life-changing equine therapy and trauma-healing programs, the exhibition invited artists from around the country to submit artworks depicting horses at liberty in order to win one of the eight art prizes we had on offer. The exhibition had 75 works on display from 42 artists from around the country all vying to win a prize in one of thee categories – painting and drawing, sculpture, and photography – or our people’s choice award for most popular artwork.
Completing the line-up of art pieces on display were ceramic horses decorated by some of Australia’s favourite people: cricketing great Glenn McGrath and his family, music icon Russell Morris, AFL legend Nicky Winmar, celebrity chef Matt Golinski, artist Tony Albert, and television presenter Scott Hillier.
To browse and purchase the artwork we still have available, please visit our Horse Art shop. These pieces have all been generously donated by their respective creators for us to continue to offer for sale.
Seeing The Soul will be back in 2024…
