Ellenie Faith Kirkman has entered this work into the 2024 edition of our Seeing the Soul Art Prize and Exhibition and has donated it to the Sanctuary for us to raise funds and help support our mental health programs. This piece was one of our five prize winners, having won the Under 18s Emerging Artist award.

Artist statement: This oil painting tries to capture the feeling of close connection between human and horse. I love the term “kindred spirits” and I love meeting fellow kindred spirits whether they are humans or horses.

Freight/Delivery: This item will remain at the Cooroy Butter Factory for the duration of the exhibition. We will contact you when the exhibition has finished to arrange collection.
