Mutual respect is a core component of our programs.
Our facilitators block out time just for your session. They may be coming to the Sanctuary that day only to meet with you and will prepare the session up to 1.5 hours beforehand (bringing the horses in the right paddock, preparing equipment, etc.).
This is why, cancellations go as follows:
- A deposit of $120 will be asked from you before starting your program. This will be refunded at the end of the program if all invoices have been paid.
- You can cancel a session twice with notice without impacting your program.
- If cancelled with 24-hour notice, there will be no cancellation fee.
- If cancelled with less than 24-hour notice, you must pay a full fee (usually $120) – even if you’re a scholarship client – before returning for your next session.
- If you give no notice, you won’t be invited back – except in extreme circumstances like the death of a close one or a car accident – and your deposit will be kept.
- If you cancel more than twice, there will be no make-up session from the third cancellation, and this will be deducted from the number of sessions left. For example, if you cancel 3 times, you will only do 11 sessions instead of 12.
- The practitioner can cancel as many times as necessary (common in case of bad weather) without impacting your program.
- NDIS clients will have to give a 7-day notice, as per NDIS rules, or the cancellation fee (full amount) will be applied.
