Incredible friendships start here. When you sponsor a horse at Hoofbeats Sanctuary, you’ll be guaranteeing their future with us – ensuring they will never want for warmth, care, food or friends.

Horses are expensive critters to keep, and for the last financial year our horse care costs were just under $44,000. The wonderful horses that make up our herd are the backbone of our equine therapy and other mental health programs – and without them, or your support, these programs would just not be possible.

We aim to raise $5000 per horse in sponsorships. Every horse will have a single Principal Sponsor (a $4000 once-off payment) and multiple Monthly Sponsors of varying amounts.

In 2023, for every $10 we raised for the herd, we spent $5.82 on hay and other feeds, $1.69 on the farrier, $1.57 on vet bills, $0.68 on supplements and medication, and $0.24 on worming and first aid.

Sponsor a horse today and you’ll receive invitations to our quarterly Gratitude Days during which you can meet the herd, grab a selfie with your sponsored horse and enjoy a light vegetarian lunch picnic at the Sanctuary. Tax Deductibility: For individuals, sponsorship payments are treated as donations and are tax deductible. For businesses, it can be a marketing expense or a donation depending on the level of sponsorship benefits you require.
