Artist statement: A stunning black stallion to rise to great prominence — that was my dream. And he did. In dappled grey! I was in awe of this beautiful creature from his imprinted birth (I helped him into my world from his mother), to his long ‘dance’ here with me and my daughter, to his departure for an overseas destination, where he became the lead stallion in an enterprise in Malaysia. I think of ‘mu’ Ahmahni every single day since — his proud and inspiring spirit, his sheer awesome power in a physical dimension, and our ‘soul connection’, which remains strong despite a new owner and the tyranny of distance. Ahmahni’s lasting impact on me will never waste away — never!
