Beautifully framed pastel artwork by internationally acclaimed artist Karen Osborn. Exhibited in the Painting & Drawing category at the 2023 Seeing The Soul Art Prize and Exhibition in support of mental health. Karen entered this beautiful work in the exhibition and donated it to the sanctuary to raise funds to help support our equine therapy mental health outreach programs. This work was Runner Up in the People’s Choice Award.

Karen’s work is usually exclusively available through the Paard Verzameld Gallery in the Netherlands so this is a very special opportunity to purchase one of Karen’s works locally.

Artist Statement: I was born with a wide open heart, and I took it to the horses. The horses said – use your art and show them who we are. Rio was a rescued stallion who shared my life for a very brief moment in time. This painting is his legacy.
