Jo Cook has entered this work into the 2024 edition of our Seeing the Soul Art Prize and Exhibition and has donated it to the Sanctuary for us to raise funds and help support our mental health programs.

Artist statement: Haiku: My turtle swims by me now. A beacon to power, my power of endurance Turtles are a symbol of vitality and good fortune as well as patience and stability. They are a beacon of determination despite obstacles. If we choose to dance to the beat of a different drum in our society, the divine turtle is a beautiful animal to use to honour this journey.

Freight/Delivery: This item will remain at the Cooroy Butter Factory for the duration of the exhibition. We will contact you when the exhibition has finished to arrange collection. If you require delivery, the freight cost will be calculated separately and we will contact you to arrange payment for delivery.
