Lindy Blackburn has entered this work into the 2024 edition of our Seeing the Soul Art Prize and Exhibition and has donated it to the Sanctuary for us to raise funds and help support our mental health programs.

Artist statement: I have combined my love of printmaking and collage to create As One, a symbolic work depicting several elements. It was important for me to portray emotion in this work, mainly because I have seen how my sister’s life has been transformed by her close interaction with Lucas, her andalusian pony. I intentionally chose nature and a combination of colours to express this emotion. The calmness, trust or the moodiness of the many hues of blue. Pure and innocent white and the rich gold and bronze representing preciousness, achievement and success.

Freight/Delivery: This item will remain at the Cooroy Butter Factory for the duration of the exhibition. We will contact you when the exhibition has finished to arrange collection. If you require delivery, the freight cost will be calculated separately and we will contact you to arrange payment for delivery.
