Artist statement: In my oil painting “Innocent Harmony”, I wanted to capture a moment of pure innocence and unspoken understanding between a young girl and her white foal. This oil painting weaves a visual narrative of peace, safety, and the beauty that can exist between humans and animals. The subjects are nestled in an idyllic setting, where the gentle interplay of warm greens, pinks, and browns creates a backdrop that feels both comforting and ethereal. The choice of hues and the delicate rendering of light and shadow envelop the duo in an almost magical aura, suggesting a world where every creature finds solace and understanding in the presence of another. “Innocent Harmony” invites viewers to reflect on the universal values of empathy, care, and the simple joys of companionship. It is a celebration of the healing power of the human and animal connection.
