Jonathan Jones has entered this work into the 2024 edition of our Seeing the Soul Art Prize and Exhibition in order for us to raise funds and help support our mental health programs.

Artist statement: The Arabian horse has engaged and captivated mankind for over 6000 years. This, my artwork including complimentary prose called “Reflection”, celebrates that horse in all of his beauty, intelligence and powers. This piece is my impression of “Ahnshahn Ahnahni”, my stallion that I designed, created and showed up to a national stage level, some years ago. He cast a spell over me from his imprinted birth on my small registered stud in the Mooloolah Valley. We became best friends. He was recognised at a national show level in Sydney as a brilliant example of the Arabian horse. Never forgotten — always cherished. ‘Ahmahni’.

Freight/Delivery: This item will remain at the Cooroy Butter Factory for the duration of the exhibition. We will contact you when the exhibition has finished to arrange collection. If you require delivery, the freight cost will be calculated separately and we will contact you to arrange payment for delivery.
